This special presentation will feature panelist answering pre-selected questions to recap the success and struggles of their ISO 9001:2015 transition. We believe this discussion will provide a lessons learned point of view. Since the transition deadline is soon approaching, we wanted to provide some timely advice to our membership on the subject. Moderated by ASQ Houston treasurer, Tony Adams.

As always, our monthly Professional Development Dinner Meetings are open to the public and are only $5.00.  There is no requirement to be an ASQ member to attend, or to purchase a meal.  Online pre-registration closes on Mondays at 11:45pm before the event.  If you choose to purchase a meal at the event, the price will be $25 (only $5 more).

25 years as a Quality Professional. Responsible of Quality Management Systems in different companies, industries and countries. Ford Motor Co. and Siemens as examples of that. ISO9001 Lead Auditor since 1998 with 1994 version up to the current 2015 version. He has achieved several certifications in ASQ: Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and with APICS: Certified Supply Chain Professional. He has a Bachelor Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Master Degree in Information Management both from Tecnologico de Monterrey.


During his former position as SNC-Lavalin Quality Assurance Manager he was part of the ISO9001:2015 certifications audits to the Sealy Fabrication Facility last October 2017 and the Houston Corporate Office in Feb 2018. He just took a position with Pure Safety Group where they are planning to get certified by the end of the year.
