Objective: To help people who are familiar with auditing to ISO 9001:2008 deal with the new ISO 9001:2015

The purpose is to present information on known pitfalls and obstacles that an auditor should be aware of as he/she transitions from the ISO 2008 standard to ISO 2015.

All the requirements in ISO 9001:2008 are alive and well in the 2015 edition. Added to the mix, several net additions have been introduced that present a whole new set of requirements and strategies that must be adhered to under the new ISO 2015 standard. However, the big change is that there appears to be a large amount of leeway that the new standard allows in interpretation. A classic example is requirement for documentation: Is it there, or not? This apparent ambiguity can make auditing difficult.

This presentation will provide methods to put clarity in the requirements so that the audit criteria are firm enough to audit against.
