This presentation will provide an overview of ASQ as an organization including the structure and resources for members geographically and by industry, the responsibilities of the Board of Directors as well as the impact the board has on ASQ and its future direction.

Daniella (Dani) Picciotti has a long member leader history in ASQ. She started engaging with ASQ in the certification process in 2000 in the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) exam program. Then, she progressed to the Chair of the CQE exam committee and to the Chair of the ASQ Certification Board. ...

Daniella (Dani) Picciotti has a long member leader history in ASQ. She started engaging with ASQ in the certification process in 2000 in the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) exam program. Then, she progressed to the Chair of the CQE exam committee and to the Chair of the ASQ Certification Board. After her experience serving on the Certification Board, Dani participated on the Technical Program Committee supporting ASQ's World Conference on Quality and Improvement. In addition, she has been an active member on the Technical Communities Council Admin committee since 2010. Currently, Dani is serving a second 2-year term as a National Director on ASQ's Board of Directors representing Technical Communities. In this role, she is leading a Society level subcommittee to deploy ASQ 2020 goals across member units (sections, divisions, and local member communities) and connecting non-division technical communities in the Technical Communities Council. Dani, currently living in San Diego, CA, is a career Quality professional with over 25 years in the Quality function working primarily in the manufacturing arena supporting aerospace, nuclear, and medical device industries.
