Need 1 volunteer for Saturday 4/20 and 1 for Sunday 4/21 to drive with staff and close rest stops after walkers pass by.

I’m so excited to know that ASQ is planning to participate in this event. From my personal experience participating as volunteer in 2010 and then moving to a crew member in 2011 and 2012, I realized that no matter who you are and what you do (walk or serve as a crew member, or a volunteer), you still can contribute to a good cause.
If you look around, you may find someone you know, had or have cancer. To be there to support and share the crowd, you are sending a good message for being a supporter. Watch some of the video that are posted on Avon Walk website and see if you can join to make a difference. We, as ASQ members can join as one team and cover a "rest stop". We can have ASQ banners, hats, and shirts on. We will be provided with all supplies from Avon and run the "rest stop". If you want to sign in to join a "rest stop" crew, please contact Fatma Ali ASAP. The "rest stop" crew sign-up fills out quickly, and we need to act as soon as possible to be able to reserve a spot.
