I hope you had a chance to relax and enjoy different activities during the summer. We started our program year in August with an excellent professional development meeting. From the initial feedback, it appears that the presentation by Tom Hanson was very well received by our membership.
This year, we are also trying to provide you all with the remote access of the video recording of the speaker presentations. We are addressing some of the technology and resources challenges in this regard, but shortly you’d be able to see video recording of Tom Hanson’s presentation.
We are running the refresher course for CMQ/OE with a very positive response from the members attending it. Please stay tuned for the announcement from Education Committee for the next wave of the refresher courses starting in October.
Our Voice of the Customer Committee is very actively trying to listen to your voice and then develop actions around increasing your satisfaction with section activities. Please participate in their meeting surveys and LinkedIn discussions to offer your suggestions.
We have a great program lined up for September which will be of interest to many of you as it deals with the oil spill. I am sure you’ll have a great time during the September 16th professional development meeting.
